Fair Oaks Public Library Display Features Family History

In an effort to introduce the joy of genealogy to the community and in celebration of National Family History Month, the Fair Oaks (California) Public Library display case now features books, photos and ephemera that depict family history research, resources and results.  Throughout October, onlookers will also be able to read about Family History Day at the California State Archives and a large-print scroll listing the free genealogy classes being offered at this annual event.  This display is available for viewing through the end of October.

If your travels take you to the neighborhood, stop in to view the displays in person.  In the meantime, take a peek at the display below.

The Fair Oaks Public Library is located at 11601 Fair Oaks Blvd at Madison Avenue, Fair Oaks, CA.

This display was designed by Root Cellar Sacramento Genealogical Society members Diane Maltase and Suzanne Latimer with her daughter-in-law Maria Latimer.
